Are you aware that God already knows your heart? He sees your faults, your flaws and your mistakes. Yet, He still invites you close. So why hold back from Him, even as you sit in His presence? What are you afraid to let Him see, when He already knows it all?
Take a moment and cast your cares on Him and I mean fully cast your cares on Him. Allow Him to search your heart and move through you as only He can.
1 Peter 5:7
"Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you."
God is watching you worry and stumble, even in His presence.
Instead of worrying in God's presence, be still and know that He is God. Whatever you're in need of, trust that He will make a way.
Vulnerability goes beyond shedding tears or crying out when things get hard. Its posture of surrender. It's opening up the parts of you that you try to keep hidden.
The fears, the insecurities, the thoughts you're afraid to say out loud and laying them before God. It's choosing honesty over perfection, and relationship over performance. True vulnerability says, "God, here I am, even in my mess."
That's what He's waiting for. He can't move when you're only giving Him half. You show up to Him when you're in need, but remember, God is a jealous God. He wants your heart in still moments too, not just in desperation.
Jermiah 29:13
"You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart."
So today, take off the mask. Be vulnerable before Him. There's no shame in being seen by the one who created you.
When was the last time you opened your heart and allowed yourself to be vulnerable in God's presence?
